About Us

Who We Are?

Coach and Friends is a nonprofit organization founded by Kyle and Kimberly Jarman stared in Wake Forest, North Carolina, with a mission to create meaningful opportunities for individuals with special needs to learn, grow, and connect in a safe, supportive, and fun environment.


Our programs are designed for children and adults with our friends that experience Neurodivergent like ADHD and Autism, as well as Down syndrome, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), and other special needs. We believe every individual deserves the opportunity to build confidence, develop new skills, and experience the joy of friendship and community.


Coach and Friends strives to create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment where individuals with special needs can stay active, build life skills, develop meaningful friendships, and grow in confidence. We are committed to providing engaging programs, fostering a sense of belonging, and partnering with Registered Behavior Technician (RBT's) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), volunteers and our community to ensure every Friend has the opportunity to learn, participate, and thrive.


Coach and Friends offers engaging activities that promote physical fitness, creativity, life skills, and social interaction. Participants enjoy PE-style activities, arts and crafts, life skills development, and inclusive social experiences, all led by caring coaches and dedicated volunteers who provide individualized support throughout each activity.


As a nonprofit organization, Coach and Friends depends on the generosity of volunteers, donors, sponsors, and community partners. Through fundraising efforts and community support, we work to keep our programs affordable and accessible so that every Friend has the opportunity to participate.
